Fad Diets The Perfect Storm of Weight Gain and Poor Health


When we consider all of the factors that contribute negatively to our health and fitness: stress, chemical and pollution exposure, genetically modified foods, refined sugar, hormone additives, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, confusing labeling, and in increasingly sedentary lifestyle, we have entered into the "perform storm" of ill health.
Many of us have unfortunately lost before we even set out to accomplish our health goals. The cards arent simply stacked in our favor. Did you know that if you were to speak to your child one-on-one, reminding your child of the importance of healthy eating at every meal between the ages of 3 years old and 18, you would still be outgunned by tens of thousands of messages to eat other sugary snacks that significantly contribute to our obesity problem?
The fact is that we are inundated with images, jammed with images that we are constantly not good enough, dont look pretty enough, not "man" enough, not "lady" enough, and that you especially dont deserve a healthy great looking body unless you buy their products!
Well, I am here to tell you that you are good enough, you are beautiful enough, and you are special enough to deserve the very best. When people begin to believe that lie that they have been subtly and explicitly told in a variety of different messages every day, our attitudes are affected, our goals are cut down, our feelings of empowerment shrivels, and we then desperately look for other things to make us feel better - like watching television, eating fatty foods, and drinking alcoholic and sugary drinks, to name a few.
If youre like the rest of us, then over the years you have probably tried many, many different diets, programs, fads, and gizmos to lose weight and tackle your fitness. Youve also probably tried many different foods to help you to achieve your dieting goals: bland crackers, tasteless bars, and liquid diets. And for whatever reason, they have all seemed to fail or fall short, right?
Well, I am going to ask you to try one more time - to believe one more time that you can do it and hope that you can achieve significant fitness improvements in your life. You may have failed many times before, but its never too late to start again! Let me say this again: Its never too late to try and lose the weight you want again!
The point is that you have to keep trying and you have to keep believing that you can make a difference in your own life, and in your own health! There are so many things we struggle for - our mortgage, keeping up with the bills, being there for our children and family. This time, I am going to ask you one more time - to invest in yourself. You can do it - and I will walk you through it.
Fad diets dont work and they actually cause you to gain the weight even more weight
Do it now - say "goodbye" to fad diets forever! They dont work!
